Football fans were in for a treat as Liverpool and Tottenham went head-to-head in a nail-biting seven-goal thriller.
Despite Liverpool starting the match strong with three goals within the first 15 minutes, Tottenham showed their determination to fight back, having already demonstrated their fighting spirit in a comeback against Manchester United last week where they came from being 2 goals down to draw 2-2.
Tottenham started to take control of the game, scoring a goal before the end of the first half and continuing to push in the second half.
Son came close to scoring twice, hitting the woodwork on both occasions, but managed to pull another goal back in the 77th minute, setting up an exciting finale.
Richarlison, who recently joined Tottenham from Everton, scored his first Premier League goal for Spurs in the 93rd minute, followed by his trademark pigeon celebrations as he believed he had earned his team a valuable point in the race for the top 4.
However, Liverpool responded immediately after Diogo Jota capitalised off a Lucas Moura mistake to fire in from his left-foot, securing a dramatic victory for his team.

Tottenham were punished for their slow start but if the performance against Manchester United and Liverpool is something what Tottenham fans can expect from the team under Ryan Mason, then he might be building himself a good case for becoming a candidate for the job.
