Spurs left it late to get going, scoring three goals in 15 minutes to secure a comfortable 3-1 victory against Crystal Palace.
Eze gave Palace the lead with a stunning free-kick and it looked like it would be one of those frustrating nights for Spurs.
But they turned up the intensity late in the second half, scoring two goals in 3 minutes to turn the game around. Werner poked home Brennan Johnson’s drilled pass before Romero headed in Maddison’s cross.
In the 88th minute, Brennan Johnson’s perfectly timed pass on a counter sets up Son through on goal, who clinically slotted the ball into the bottom right corner, ensuring the three points.
