Watch: Brilliant new clip shows how Son played a huge role in Werner’s goal against Palace

Tottenham Hotspur came back from a goal down to clinch a 3-1 win in the London derby against Crystal Palace last Saturday afternoon.

Around the hour mark, Palace took the lead through Eberechi Eze’s brilliant free-kick goal.

Nonetheless, Spurs levelled the score 17 minutes later courtesy of Timo Werner, then followed up with two more goals within 11 minutes, thanks to Cristian Romero and Heung-min Son.

A new clip of Werner’s equalising goal is now doing the rounds, showing Son’s huge role in it.

The goal was assisted by the young Welsh winger Brennan Johnson, who displayed exceptional skill, evading two defenders as he drove the ball low across the face of the goal from outside the box.

However, fans noticed and praised Son’s genius as he cleverly made a dummy run toward the front, drawing defenders with him before swiftly pulling back.

This movement created space for Werner to arrive at the back post and score.

The goal injected renewed energy into Tottenham, spurring them to score two more goals in quick succession to complete the turn around.

The South Korean then went on to score the third goal which secured all three points for them.
