The 24-year-old Uruguayan saw 20-minutes of action against the Seagulls and made a thoroughly decent first impression. It’s rare the Spurs buy a player that looks to have hit the ground running, and even if this was ‘just’ 20-minutes and ‘just’ Brighton, there is certainly room for optimism.

There’s certainly a long way to go, before definitive statements about the boy can be made, but this was a pleasing debut that would surely see Harry Winks being rotated with greater frequency?
Might be your broadband?
Shame we didn’t get the biz done earlier, might have had a better chance against Chelsea.
Looks like a proper midfielder 💪
Football team buys player who is ready to play from day one. Wow.
Stolid defender although can see us playing with 10 men more often as he doesn’t take prisoners
H … What’s occurring with the comments section… sometimes they’re there sometimes not 🤷🏻♂️
Both additions look to be just what we need,I think they will settle in nicely.I can see Wiks communing far longer with the bencg in the second half of the season.
I like what Potter is doing with Brighton and the way he has them playing. However until he buys himself a decent striker,15-25 goals a season man,he will be forever the nearly man at Brighton. It’s the main reason the teams at the bottom are there too.
The desire and hunger for the ball was impressive, if that is what he is all about that’s fine by me.
