Video – VAR taking a day off after missing a clear penalty to Tottenham

By Bruce Grove -

VAR has been at the centre of controversy before and after football resumed and you would have thought the officials operating the technology would have learned some lessons by now but it seems not.

Harry Kane was clearly pushed over in the penalty area and it was as clear a spot-kick that you would ever see but for some inexplicable reason VAR decided against awarding the penalty.

Have a look at the video and judge for yourselves but I have no doubt you will all agree it was a nailed-on penalty.

We’ve become the club that relies on VAR to win us games. We then complain when it doesn’t

That was the worst game I’ve seen Spurs play in years, Mourinho football is a complete joke. Not one shot on target in the whole match against one of the worst defences in the Premiership. He has absolutely no defence against that. Kane is supposed to be one of the best strikers in the world and he has one touch in the oppositions box. Enough is enough, Levy, Lewis and Mourinho have to go, NOW !!!

Aurier needs to do one and f_ck off. Kane must be totally fed seeing the ball going out wide on both flanks and not being delivered. Still not shooting or taking risks, absolute bollox being served up tonight. To make it worse the ref is clearly a hater.
