Last night’s game between Brazil and Argentina was eventually abandoned as Health Officials and Federal Police went to the extraordinary length of ‘storming’ the pitch in order to charge 4 Argentinian players with falsifying information upon entering the country.
Early suggestions are that the players – who include Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero – could in theory be made to serve 14 days quarantine in Brazil, followed by a further 10 days in a government approved hotel. This means that theoretically we could be without the bold travellers for over a month, if one were to add time required to get fit again…
Different standards or levels of fitness required per manager…. if we look at Tanguy for example Mourinho picked him & subbed him 2nd half as he considered it better to have him for 60 mins than not at all.. Nuno has decided if your not fit enough for 90 you wont make the squad.
How could I possibly forget Winks? In fairness his fitness isnt in doubt, its just that he doesnt do anything well…unless its passing the ball backwards
Lo no show isnt fit enough for the EPL at all…at least Tanguy at peak fitness managed 1 game a week… I guess we have no idea how tough that is on 200k/week…😂
What was it about please?
I’m in guv
Oh come on East stand man. Ndom turns up for training on time everyday and Emerson royal loves being at tottenham already.
At club level I doubt very much celly has ever been involved in a more talented squad working in better facilities being paid as much.
He’s got nothing to complain to mummy about
ENIC cannot kill tottenhams soul.
Even though Joe lewis is a very powerful man. He’s got the Argentinian government and sections of the Argentinian press in his pocket. He’s on a serious mission re Patagonia
Yep. The majority have just melted in the face of this tyrannical takeover. Convid spot checks now at Old Trafford, rest will follow. “Mandatory”. I was called all the usual generic names when I said this was what was happening at the start of this sham.
Tolerate this and….well, it’s a bit late now…
This was n e v e r about health and public safety. Maybe people will start to realize that now….again, way too late.
He calls home and says “great club, but the owners are complete wan*ers Mum…”
He was ‘in’ until he realised the kind of set up he’s actually walked into. ENIC are killing the club’s soul, bit by bit, with every passing season. The Spurs we know and love, looks unrecognisable…
Add the embarrassing situation with our record signing unable to get out of bed in the morning, a new right-back who doesn’t even want to be at the club and we can cheer “all hail Levy!” for his excellent decisions on the football front. He’s not fit for purpose…
The corporations and governments have had everyone bent over a barrel for some time, Covid has allowed them to unzip their flies, you know what’s coming next…
Winks?? Hopefully not.
“as Health Officials and Federal Police went to the extraordinary length of ‘storming’ the pitch”. We are entering into a period of global communism and tyranny. We’ve accepted our slow descent into this situation.
As I understand it they flew out with the rest of the squad to Bolivia for the next game on Thursday. You would expect Bolivia to have a real problem with covid too.FIFA has a lotto answer for.
‘Are you in, or are you out, son?’ would be my brief conversation with him
I’m starting to get sick of Lo Celso.
More International games in October so off on another jolly.
Funny how Lo Celso and Romero’s fitness problems suddenly cleared up when Argentina wanted them to play.
No real net loss other than salaries imho.. lo celso hasnt completed 1 EPL game in at least 12 months & Romero arrived at Spurs injured… just means more opportunities for Rondon, Winks, Tanguy & others 😏
