With Tottenham Hotspur opening the Premier League season against Manchester City, there were was about to be plenty of questions regarding the future of Harry Kane.
There are a couple of weeks left until the summer transfer window closes, and the speculation over whether Manchester City will make an offer for Kane continues to brew.
Despite talking about their interest in the 28-year-old, manager Pep Guardiola once again found himself answering questions over Kane.
Guardiola’s response was of someone who is annoyed talking about this rumor during his press conference. The Spanish tactician wanted to let the media know that he’s done discussing that file in a passive-aggressive manner.
“I answered this question the previous press conference,” Guardiola said. “He is a player from Tottenham; I’m not going to talk about him. I made an exception last time; normally, I don’t talk about transfers. That’s all.”
