Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo has made it clear he wants to see his players improve after admitting to being concerned by the manner of the defeat to Crystal Palace this weekend.
Despite making such a strong start to the campaign, Spurs were beaten 3-0 at Selhurst Park and crumbled after going down to ten men against Patrick Vieira’s side.
Nuno will no doubt be disappointed, and he’s made it clear he thinks that this squad has the ability to perform better than this.

We desperately need two quality creative midfielders. Both were abysmal on Saturday.

I think Nuno has been conned by the positive attitude of Dele and Winks in training. They are desperate to keep their jobs at Spurs, so become teachers pet. Dele also makes special effort to be in all the photo shots at key moments in matches. His own PR agent.
We could have done without that International break, caused nothing but trouble.
