Video Evidence: Wahid Faghir Is Clearly A Talent But He’s Only 17

The Express Online reports that the boy has been dubbed the ‘next Zlatan Ibrahimović’, which is undoubtedly an extremely flattering thing for any player to be on the receiving end of – at any stage of their career.

Gareth Bicknell for the Express believes that Wahid Faghir could be part of a succession plan for the possible departure of Harry Kane. I take a view that the kid looks mustard, but as the line goes, ‘there’s many a slip ‘twixt the cup and the lip’ and not everyone completes their footballing journeys.

Additionally, I’d say from the Vejle boy’s heat map, I’d suggest that Sonny would have more to worry about than Harry Kane.

I was the next Crouch in PE until I made the move to central defence, shocking many a pundit…

Has any player dubbed the next Pele, the next Cruyff, the next Ronaldo, the next Messi ever turned out well?
