Video Evidence: Skipp Scored And His Body Language Spoke Volumes

By The Boy -

Here’s a shock, another upbeat piece on Oliver from the boy himself. I share the concerns that many of you might have; it’s a big step up from the Championship to the Premier League. Most promoted sides tend to get to find themselves up to their eyeballs in trouble. Ask Scott Parker!

Oliver Skipp is a decent guy in my book, and has yet to develop the truly dreadful, utterly dull habits of the ageing Harry Winks.

The goal

Interceptions

Long ball

Aerial duels

Yes, he needed a Routine, expects to play every game and develop, gain confidence. Skipps progress is one positive in this Season,.

I’d like to see the player that broke into the team. The player that got forward and moved the ball forward.

I genuinely don’t know what happened to him. Something Poch said or did turned this boy into something more boring than former PM John Major

Winks would have looked to pass that opportunity backwards

Harsh on Winks there H. The boy is bereft of confidence. Wouldn’t you be playing alongside Sissoko 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was watching the stream live and was surprised to see the defensive midfielder run the length of the pitch and score a goal right at the end of the game.
His first professional goal..his celebrations were great to see.

Leave Skipp where he is for the time being, and perhaps send him out on another loan spell afterwards. He’s played 30-odd games so far and they’ve done him the world of good in terms of experience. Has a very bright future if they manage his development carefully.

Looks like he has the right attitude but it’s a big step up for him in the premiership. defending for his goal was shocking – no one in their own half or even close to it. But he showed great determination to get up alongside the runner for his tap in.
