Video Evidence: Salt In The Wound As Dressing Room Footage Appears Online

After such a depressing game, José Mourinho could probably think of at least twenty things that he would prefer to do than go straight to his players and begin to discuss the misery. In a deeply respectful move, the Portuguese went instead to the home side’s dressing room in order to applaud them.

Salt in the wound stuff but very few Spurs players did enough to even earn the return portion of their flight ticket home.

Across the day I’m going to provide an honest analysis of this club. So if you have a theory, and you wish to join in, make sure you’re able to substantiate your argument.

HOUSEKEEPING Last night many comments didn’t get published and certainly didn’t get read by anyone. Swearing and stupidity will never see the light of day on here. Keep a diary – that’s your best bet.

Spot On . The shiny New Stadium with the Grey Seats , Not to offend the NFL Contingent, will sort out what THFC has become.

Poch knew the squad wasn’t strong enough, Levy an expert in these matters thought it was. Only one winner
Levy the sort of boss no one wants to work for. A friend of mines daughter applied for a marketing job there. Told by someone itk not to go anywhere near it

Correct, but paying £15 million is far cheaper than having to invest in the squad. He was a punt. Levy hoped his pedigree of winning things would be enough to get something out of this sorry lot.

He was wrong as he had been on most football related decisions he makes.

Aurrier was probably the worst player on the pitch.., maybe he & Doherty are competing to be first to be shipped out. I think the midfield was the major failure yesterday, either too static, too many sideways passes or constant inability to find others in a forward position. I think its time to look in the youth squad & give maybe Rodon & Scarlett a run of games…, when Toby doesnt play we dont just lose our best centre back, but also the one who is most comfortable on the ball, who looks to play forward.

Too many players who just don’t seem to give a stuff. Namely Dier, Sanchez, Sissoko, Bale. I would ship them out this summer. Ndombele, too. He has had a bad attitude from the start, I mean just watch his body language. Bring back Skipp for next season and make him a regular. He’s been storming the championship and now ready. He and Hjojberg could be the driving force and leadership in midfield that we need. Even try one or two other youngsters that have the desire and right attitude that so many in our team lack.

Agreed. I think Gazzaniga is better. But we need a new keeper this summer, along with a few others, obviously.

enic Employed a serial winner with a 15m salary .

that’s a big investment , along with the stadium and training ground.

We have a forward line (4) who take probably take in excess of 550k per week .

Well we all knew you can’t trust footballers. They are all money driven hair obsessed models full time with a odd game thrown in. How many of us would have been surprised had we have been told the result in advance. The problem for fans is we are obsessed with our club more than most players who for them it is just a job. We will in time forget this and swallow more garbage from the club because that is what we both do. Now let’s buy into the idea we can still make top four.

Just seen Hugo’s interview, you watch, he will be sat on the bench in favor of Joe Hart for the rest of the season, and then sold in the summer. But, i feel he wanted to say a lot more !

Unless your linked to oil , all football owners want s bang for their buck –

start point has to be a clear football strategy with accountability . Such good comments below that all smacks us in the face .

Do something about it on the pitch ! Not after in an interview .

mourhinho talks attitude 1st above ability – I agree – coaches/players shame on you.

it’s all you .

kids with attitude (coached) would of seen us through this.

Jose Mourinho has been lumbered with another group of wasters who can’t or won’t follow his instructions. The poor guy just has no luck. #provenwinner

2 superbly insightful comments. The worst thing is. We won’t get more than a partial overhaul in the Summer and ENIC are going nowhere. I don’t mind a poor season next year as long as there’s a sense of building. Unfortunately all we’ll get is more of the same with no sense of a light at the end of the miserable tunnel. And so it is to be a Spurs fan.

My Tuppence worth H. Upset, very upset. How many times do we get to ‘The cusp’, then blow it. 8 FA Cup Semi finals losses on the trot, a record i believe. Surprised about last night? NO.. ‘It’s OK, we’ll just turn up and job done’ attitude, no hunger.. Point in case, every time we broke away on an attack, one of their players grabbed a shirt/arm/shorts (Fill in the desired word), they were not going to let us win, full stop. Why did we not show the same desire..

I can give my analysis …. It’s short and not sweet.

We’re just not very good and haven’t been for not months but years, at least 2 probably 3.

A Merry go round of managers a recruitment policy that would see most businesses go bust by now all add up to last night.

Be under no illusion things are going to get a lot worse before any glimmer of getting better.

Yes, it’s Mourinho’s fault. Yes it’s definitely the players fault. Ultimately though, it goes higher, much higher. No new shiny stadium or 1st class training facility is sorting this mess anytime soon.

Buckle up, strap in, it’s about to get bumpy.

When any major overhaul or revolution is required (as is the case with spurs) it is essential to clear out each and every fundamental component conducive to that failed previous system.

When I reflect on that fact, it pains me to know that when the dust clears, levy and ENIC will remain.

We can talk up Jose out, fire the squad, hire a director of football. Whether the new era brings temporary hope or misery as we are witnessing now, it will ALWAYS be a veneer.
This club is not being run to be successful. It is an investment business owned by an investment company, of which said company has no form for backing in the football department nor desire to change its habits.
