Tanguy Ndombele is a mystery, perhaps because of the language barrier, there appears to a permanent veil of confusion surrounding the Frenchman. It might be helpful if Spurs new media team could try to involve him a little in some of their video content? Whatever ails the boy, we haven’t got a full 90 minutes out of him since September. That was in the Carabao Cup, 29.09.2020, against Chelsea.
Against Wolves, we got 72-minutes and as usual it was a generally good/excellent performance. We want, we need, more.
I can see it now
led at the back by Ramos/from the front by Costa – what a nasty team of feckers we will be
“Who dreams these silly rumours up??”
Ramos’s agent.
Has to be some physical issue…Tanguy is the player who doesn’t lose possession easily, isn’t afraid to receive the ball in tight spaces and always looks to play forward – a player who will keep the opposition on their toes even when we’re defending a lead, but 70 minutes is not enough.
Maybe we can sub him on after 20 minutes?
N’Dombele has been with us for 18 months now.Surely he is up to match fitness and can last 90 minutes. It beggars belief that he is subbed off because he is tired. If it is tactical then why is Mourinho taking off our currently most creative looking player.
Total hogwash
We have three home matches coming up that we need to win.The problem is it’s looking highly unlikely using the the tactics mourinho currently imposes on the team.
Availability permitting I would like to see the following lineup:
Lloris
Aurier,Toby,Dier,Reguillon
PEH
N’Dombele,LoCelso
Dele
Kane,Son
I know this is going against Mourinho’s thinking, particularly regarding Dele, but we need to get back on the front foot and stay there. This is probably our strongest lineup and the most creative.
If it didn’t work ,then we do have serious problems. We certainly can’t continue with the garbage we are currently watching.
Previously it was Real Madrids Isco and Asensio, now we supposedly linked to 34 year old captain extraordinaire Sergio Ramos which ain’t likely to happen is it? Who dreams these silly rumours up??
Despite his flashy skills / positive performances of late IMO the jury is still out on both Ndombele and Lo Celso!
Happy Days.
