Juan Foyth is currently at Villa Real on a and had an eventful game, which saw the Argentine make a number of moves that would be more than welcome additions to our current squad.
Sadly, the 23-year-old had to be subbed on the 70th minute with what looked like a hamstring injury.
By the shape of this Tweet, Juan is hopeful that the injury isn’t too serious.
Villa Real has an option to purchase Foyth at the end of his loan in Spain and a permanent move could well be on the cards as he has now made 31 appearances for his loan club, with 16 in La Liga.
If we look at Juan’s overall game against Arsenal, the boy really excelled – but let’s not wonder about how come we have Matt Doherty in his place. It’s too depressing…
Certainly his moving out of defence with the ball was impressive as was his defending generally. However were it not for a handball in the build up to the original penalty award,it would have been a feeling of deja vu.
He does seem to have improved though due i assume to a good run of games in a well organised side. It’s possible though that he is more suited to La Liga.I guess we are stuck with Doherty.
Would prefer him to stay
They have a €15 million buy option, according to The Athletic.
Imagine how much more he’d lick them if the money was going to him. THFC MONEY
I wonder was there a fee agreed between the 2 clubs with the option to buy? The more Foyth excels, the more Levy is licking his chops.
In other news Ten Hag has extended his contract. Another one crossed off the list. Next!
Regards your clarification there H….I’m fully expecting a similar clarification from Blofeld apologising to me for the undue stress and strain his tenure as Chairman of my club has caused me.
I’m sure he’s just licking the stamp as we speak
Must agree good player Prem to intense
A player better suited to La Liga than the PL. he’s not the first and won’t be the last. Pleased he’s got his career back on track.
