Video Evidence: Japhet Tanganga & Moussa Sissoko Show That They Actually Care

The more I reflect upon the behaviour of Eric Dier over the last few weeks the more interested I am in the notion of the Englishman being re-homed this summer. In particular, we had the recent nasty business of trying to pin the blame on Tanganga, when it had been Dier himself who had been ball watching. By some stark contrast against Villa, I thought I’d share this clip which showed how both Japhet and Moussa behaved when they felt a serious threat was being made to the Tottenham goal.

I’d like to see more of this, I’m sure we all would.

Tangana looks like he is going to be a very good player. He certainly deserves a run of games.

Rodon looked good as well, calm on the ball and i think he has shown enough to be given a go.

We kept a clean sheet and whilst villa didnt have a shot first half the defence was all over the place. But it just felt like there was more determination and desire last night. Sanchez, does looks clumsy and error prone, It can’t help playing alongside Dier and then either Aurier or Doherty the other side.

I think both Lo Celso and Ndombele have the potential to be really top class players. They have both struggled with fitness and injuries and it does take time to settle, especially in a poor team.

We need that spirit epitomised by the likes of Moura to carry through till the end of the season, hopefully we can build some confidence and finish strongly.

It’s been a horrible season, whether it’s covid, no fans or strange goings on, there seems to be a lot of turmoil at a lot of the bigger clubs across Europe at the moment.

Sissoko may care but it’s irrelevant when it comes to actual footballing matters. Probably a very nice fella and loves his nan. However, I said the moment he signed he was a poor acquisition. I have N’castle fans as friends and they’re still laughing at the fact we bought him.

His bio says he’s an attacking MF 😳he’s slow and cumbersome. An oil tanker turns quicker in the grand union canal than he does.

He isn’t very good and he’s certainly, at best a squad player.

it’s a no from me.

Totally agree on Sanchez.

Not often he has to be the leader in the 2. Not east to just take the reigns like that.
He did fine with Rodon.

The Japh was stoopendous against Villa, but I don’t get why some people on here were absolutely slaughtering Sanchez? A clean sheet too. Maybe not his finest game but slagging him off like he’d given away a couple of pens or something? Praps I need Sanchez glasses because I thought he played his part and communicated well to Rodon. Maybe I can’t take my craft beer these days; only one but it was 8%.

Tanganga and Davies

This was actually one of the best moments considering we conceded on a similar move the previous 2 matches. Good to see 3 players throw themselves for a block.

Is it not Tanganga and Reguilon, rather than Sissoko?
