Oliver Skipp was asked about a return to Tottenham and was as diplomatic as I guess he could be in the circumstances. Whilst the boy has an air of modesty about him, the 19-year-old will be aware of how sharply his stock has risen during his loan spell at Carrow Road.
As I’ve suggested previously, my ideal pathway for Skipp would be to let him stay at City for another season, even if Norwich were to win promotion. My sense is that his learning curve is not quite complete and to learn how to take on the pressures of the Premier League in familiar surroundings would have to be the most conducive way of aiding his career.
Agreed, and we are allowed to buy Aarons : )
Also Davies and Doherty are homegrowns so both I’m guessing will be given another season.
I think if we’re struggling with home growns we’ll take him back – I can’t imagine all of Winks, Dier, Dele, Hart or Rose will still be at the club next season.
That’s a lot of new English or home grown players to purchase in one window.
