Video Evidence: ESPN Pundit Calls Spurs Ace “An Idiot” And He’s far From Alone In His Condemnation

By The Boy -

This is the content we like to see, straight-talking experienced former professionals refusing to mince their words. ESPN’s Jan Aage Fjortoft didn’t pull any punches when referring to Gareth Bale.

Fans passing comments on this clip were frequently in agreement with the sentiment.

Over 1300 viewers liked this comment.

But it got worse…

I take a view that Bale will saunter out of Spurs at the end of this season, blissfully disinterested in what fans or anyone else might think about him or his situation. The Real Madrid money will keep pouring in for one more season no matter what and that… will be that.

Jamie Reknapp, Gary Neville, Merson, Jermaine Jenas and a few others as well, also in that camp.

To be fair, those four are more successful, have won more and are household names compared to Fjortoft who no one remembers and won nothing.

Bale can’t be bothered, he is getting paid loads, he was always flaky and clearly doesn’t gel with Mourinho. He is a sensitive little soul and is probably effed off with Mourinho digging him out.

Mourinho is not covering himself in glory at the moment either.

All just a shower of sh!te, the Chairman and employees need to go on a PR training course, understand what to say, when to say it and show a united front, we are all fighting for the cause.

Sadly loads of people are piping up and none of what is being said is positive, it’s finger pointing, it’s blaming attitudes and a lack of spirit.

This starts and ends with the Chairman however this scenario has been seen before at Real, Inter, Chelsea and Man U so it’s not hugely surprising that it’s happening here.

The club/team was undoubtedly in decline before Mourinho turned up, but it wasn’t this fractured. Maybe it needs to go that way for it to finally get better. Its a mess and needs sorting.

From Bale’s wages, to his injured on arrival, to his recovery time, to his performances, to his all round phlegmatic disposition; all aspects of his presence at Spurs combine to form a car crash in slow motion.

Go on the Daniel ‘why don’t you stick to what you’re good at’ Levy!
