Video Analysis: Harry Kane’s Brilliant Brace Unlikely To Cheer Up Jamie Carragher Anytime Soon

By The Boy -

Harry Kane could well be coming good after scoring twice against Ukraine, just as England approaches the business end of the Euros tournament. This may be something that Jamie Carragher regards as welcome news, given his pretty much incessant belittling of the captain in recent weeks, as per this highlighted remark from Sun Online.

Perhaps Jamie might in the future be able to hold his nose until Gareth Southgate’s boys have had an opportunity to express themselves in the future before wheeling out such dismal nonsense? Just a thought, eh?

Are you saying that had Grealish started against Germany and Ukraine then we would have done better than win 2-0 and 4-0? Slightly strange.

What is the issue with anyone associated with Liverpool and Harry Kane? The most vocal critics of Kane are either Liverpool fans or ex players. It’s crazy. Got one Liverpool mate that honestly thinks Kane is so overrated that he could do a better job for England. Kane is the 6th top scorer for England and only greaves and lofthouse have better goal ratio. What’s the deal?

I think the constant omission of Grealish and not bedding him into the team will come back to haunt Southgate now that we are about to come up against the likes of Denmark and if we get past them, probably Italy in the final.

He is way way ahead of Bellingham, Sancho and Sako in his development. I’ve been banging on about Grealish for at least 18 months now. It’s just bizarre.

As for those teams you mention earlier offloading players surplus to requirements, I’m guessing most were end of contract scenarios like Rose. Knowing Levy he will want top dollar and again be the boil on the arse of progress

My concern is that there is so little chatter out there about the dross at the club being moved on. I agree H with the Dier comments. I find it staggering that his name is not mentioned as an early departure. Last season he alone cost us so many points that probably led to us ending up in the Europa Conference and at the very least out of the Europa League. Dier, Winks and Sissoko must be removed as far away from the first team squad as Ryan Air could take them on a one way ticket to some remote location where there is no streaming services that I might have the misfortune to watch one day and accidentally cop a glimpse of them playing on a football pitch again. If Nuno Espirto Santo( why do I feel I need to cross myself when I say his name) considers them ok to keep around then he is heading for a Yuletide termination card from Levy.
