Video – 45 yard whatever it was from Harry Winks puts Spurs up 3-0
By Bruce Grove -

I will be honest, I have no idea if that was a pass or a deliberate attempt on goal from Harry Winks but it really does not matter, what a beauty of a goal.

Watching the video a few times it does look like Winks was trying to set up either Vinicius or Gareth Bale, but who knows, the keeper was off his line and maybe Winksy decided to have a go on the off chance.

I am sure he will clear it up after the final whistle.

Honestly, Winks is not the kind of player who would mean something like this hahaha. Last time he scored, it was game winner against Fulham in stoppage time two seasons ago, I was watching it in a betting agency at Kottbusser in Berlin and I was screamed like crazy, so all the old turkish guys there were super pissed at me… I am glad he found the net again, happy for him!

in the right team with different tactics he’ll be fine.

Jose likes two physical ball winners sitting deep, one linking player and it seems Tanguy is getting the nod (for good reason) to do that and three forwards one central forward and two with pace in the wide positions.

Other managers might play Tanguy and Dele or Tanguy and Winks in the same side or all three. I like a ball winner but only one real designated tackler. Jose favours two.

I thought Tanguy and Dele looked like they could develop something as a partnership tonight. It’s s shame Jose won’t nurture that but it’s not his way. Too defensive minded…

Nonsense. Winks will be fine at fulham brighton villa watford and the likes.. This is his standard…. That was his first goal in 2 years and it was clearly a cross for Bale. The lad is sub par. He played awful yet again…. And Maureens tactics change frequently according to the opposition. He’s a clever man. At Chelsea once I watched him win a man down and he had 2 defenders, Lampard and someone else in the middle, and the rest were strikers and wingers, 5 or 6 of them running rampant.
