Unhappy 27-year-old ace is looking for January exit from Tottenham

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is reportedly unhappy with his situation at the London club.

The 27-year-old returned from his loan spell at the end of last season and there were rumours that he could be sold permanently. However, Tottenham have managed to hold on to him but he has struggled for regular game time.

The Argentine international needs to play more often at this stage of his career, and he is looking to leave Tottenham during the January transfer window.

A report from Spanish publication AS (h/t SportWitness) claims that Real Betis are keen on signing the 27-year-old playmaker, and it will be interesting to see if the two clubs can come to an agreement soon.

Lo Celso has previously proven his quality in the Spanish league and returning to the Spanish club could help him regain his form and confidence.

It is evident that the midfielder is not enjoying his football anymore and he needs to sort out his long-term future and focus on his football once again

The player does not have a future at Tottenham and the North London outfit should look to cut their losses on him and let him leave in the coming months.

The 27-year-old could prove to be a quality acquisition for Real Betis and he will add technical ability, goals and creativity in the final third. He’s also versatile enough to operate as the central attacking midfielder as well as a winger.
