Tottenham Hotspur right-back Emerson Royal finds himself at the centre of transfer speculation this summer, with multiple clubs vying for his signature.
The Brazilian defender is reportedly not in the plans of Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, prompting the club to seek a move for him in the upcoming transfer window.
Among the interested parties are both Milan clubs, Inter Milan and AC Milan. Recent reports suggest that discussions have already taken place between Royal’s agent and AC Milan representatives, placing the Serie A side ahead in the race for his signature.
Saudi clubs, including Al-Nassr, have also shown interest in Royal, with the latter making a bid for him in the January transfer window, which was rebuffed by Tottenham at that time.
However, with Royal’s future now in question, a renewed bid from Al-Nassr or other interested parties could be expected.
And now, Turkish giants Galatasaray have become the latest club to register their interest in the 25-year-old.
According to Turkish news outlet Takvim, the Turkish champions are keen on signing Emerson Royal.
It’s claimed that Galatasaray are looking to sign a new right-back and have identified the Tottenham defender as the type of player they are looking for.

With a number of clubs vying for Royal’s signature, it should not be difficult for Spurs to offload him. However, Tottenham’s asking price of €30 million could be a major hurdle.
