Tottenham are in talks with Chelsea to sign midfielder Conor Gallagher.
That’s according to Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio who claims that Spurs are ‘trying to reach an agreement’ with the Blues.
Chelsea are open to selling him and value him at £40m.
He shared the update on X:

The North London club’s interest in Gallagher is not new.
They tried to sign him in the summer but failed after Chelsea decided against selling him at that time.
But this time around the move looks more likely to go through.
Conor Gallagher has been an important player for Chelsea this season and Pochettino has acknowledged his significance significance and commitment to Chelsea’s values.
But the club and the player may have come to a stand off regarding a new contract with Romano suggesting that if the situation remains unresolved, Chelsea might consider selling Gallagher if presented with a significant offer.
Spurs desperately need to sign a new centre-back and a new midfielder in January due to their depleted squad.
And Conor Gallagher could be an excellent signing who has all the potential to excel under Ange Postecoglou.
