Tottenham’s next two signings identified once Cristian Romero deal is done

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham is close to completing the transfer of Cristian Romero from Atalanta in a boost to their summer plans.

Several top European clubs have targeted the Argentinian in this transfer window after starring for his country at the Copa America.

The Express claims that Spurs will pay £43million for the 23-year-old who they hope would finally make their defence stronger.

The report adds that he won’t be the last player to join them before this transfer window closes.

It claims that after landing him, they will turn their attention towards signing two more players from Serie A.

The Lilywhites have targeted Dusan Vlahovic in this transfer window after the Serbian’s stunning season in Serie A last year.

The 21-year-old scored 21 league goals for Fiorentina and they have now identified him as the ideal strike partner to Harry Kane.

The Express also says that while Kane refuses to return to Tottenham, Daniel Levy hopes to sign new players to impress him.

The other player who Tottenham will sign in this transfer window is Takehiro Tomiyasu whom they have been trying to land since the start of the window.

The Bologna man is just 22 and could serve Spurs for a very long time.

Yes next season not this one, he looked out of his depth today. Backup for PEH and cup games only or a loan.

What a hopeless club chairman we have in Levy. He just cannot get his act together. Why does he do this to us Spurs fans every bloody year?! He is a Super Bullshitter! And Kane’s behaviour is uncalled for. City pay £150 and Kane can go. We just may be a better TEAM without him.

Prize for the first photographer with a pic of Grealish, Sterling and Kane acting as City benchwarmers.

Not when it comes to his wages though……and the bonus he paid himself for building the stadium a year after schedule and 400 million over budget.

Funny that

If that had been done we’d almost certainly of won trophies by now and definitely been in the CL too. Levy’s excuse of course being “we must be pwudent”.

I see that Jack Grealish signed a new five year contract in September.

How silly was that. Doesn’t he know that that will stop him getting a move to Manchester City.

The phrase closing the stable door after the horse has bolted springs to mind here Mr chairman.

This squad update was needed when Poch was here 4 seasons ago. As many fans on here have already stated, if the purse strings were released then we would have won trophies and be playing in the top tier competitions.

But what did we get……cheesebar/longestbar/homebrewery/glasstunnell

If we sign Vlahovic and Tomiyasu I’ll be quietly surprised.
