Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Porto striker Samu Aghehowa.

The 21-year-old has done quite well since joining the Portuguese club, and he has attracted the attention of the north London outfit. He is likely to cost around €100 million, according to a report from Fichajes.

Tottenham keen on Samu Aghehowa

Tottenham are planning to improve the team further, and they have set aside €200 million to bring in quality signings. They would need to spend half of that on the Spanish striker if they want to sign him. Porto could demand close to €100 million for the player.

He is a tremendous talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a key player for Tottenham. He is young enough to improve further, and he could solve their goal-scoring problems. Dominic Solanke has not been able to find the back of the net regularly, and Tottenham need an upgrade.

The attacker could be tempted to join the north London club as well. It would be a step up in his career, and he would get to test himself at the highest level. He has the physicality and technical attributes for the Premier League and will look to make an immediate impact if the move to Tottenham goes through.

Aghehowa scored 27 goals in all competitions last season, and he has already found the back of the net 18 times this season. There is no doubt that he is a prolific goal-scorer, and someone like him could transform Spurs in the final third. They will be hoping to fight for major trophies and compete in the UEFA Champions League regularly, and they need elite young talents like him.
