Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with a move for the Bayer Leverkusen defender, Jonathan Tah.

The 29-year-old will be a free agent in the summer, and multiple clubs are keen on securing his signature. According to a report from TBR Football, Tottenham remain keen on the player, and they held talks to sign him earlier this year.

It will be interesting to see if they can beat the competition for his signature. They will face competition from Manchester United in the Premier League. In addition to that, Spanish giants Real Madrid have now joined the race to sign the player.

The player has been linked with Liverpool as well.

Tottenham need Jonathan Tah

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can convince the player to join them instead. They need defensive reinforcements, especially with Cristian Romero expected to leave the club in the summer. They will need to bring in a top-class replacement for the Argentine international. The German International has proven himself in the Bundesliga, and he has the quality to do well in the Premier League as well.

He could be a key player for Tottenham if they can sign him. Signing a player of his quality and experience on a free transfer would represent a major bargain for Tottenham. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Manchester United are looking to bring in defensive additions as well. They need to start planning for the future without players like Harry Maguire. Jonathan Tah could be the ideal acquisition for them as well.

The player will want to compete at a high level and fight for major trophies. Clubs like Real Madrid or Manchester United could be more attractive destinations for the player. Spurs have an ambitious project, but they are not quite at the level required to win league titles or the Champions League.

Real Madrid are looking to build a squad capable of winning major trophies once again, and they have looked vulnerable defensively. It is no surprise that they are plotting a bargain move for the German defender.
