Tottenham are reportedly keen on signing the Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior at the end of the season.
A report from Football Insider claims that the Italian club could be open to selling the 20-year-old winger in the summer and Tottenham are looking to snap him up. The report adds that clubs like West Ham, Everton and Brighton are keen on the player as well.
The 20-year-old winger has one goal and two assists to his name across all competitions and he could develop into a quality player for Tottenham in the long run. He could be a long-term prospect for them and he is likely to improve with coaching and experience.
If Tottenham can sign him for a reasonable price this summer, the transfer could look like a bargain in the coming seasons.
Iling-Junior could be tempted to join Tottenham
The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be an attractive proposition for the 20-year-old winger, especially if Tottenham can provide him with ample gametime. He needs to play more often at the stage of his career in order to continue his development.
Iling-Junior has the physical and technical attributes to thrive in English football and the opportunity to return to England could be hard to turn down.
Tottenham certainly have the financial means to beat the likes of West Ham, Everton and Brighton to his signature. They will be able to offer him Champions League football if they manage to finish in the top four. That could give them an added advantage in the transfer race.
It will be interesting to see where the 20-year-old ends up. Whoever ends up signing him could have a tremendous future prospect on their hands.
