Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Fenerbahce midfielder Sebastian Szymanski at the end of the season.
According to a report from Tutto Juve, the midfielder is valued at €25 million and he is wanted by clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United as well. Tottenham are keen to win the race for his signature and they have an ‘offer already ready’ to sign him.
It will be interesting to see if they are prepared to pay the asking price for the playmaker at the end of the season. Szymanski has 12 goals and 14 assists in all competitions this season and he would improve Spurs going forward.
Spurs currently have James Maddison as the only creative midfielder at the club and they need more depth in that position. The Polish midfielder will add goals and creativity to the side. Tottenham must improve their squad if they want to do well in the Champions League next season and signings like Szymanski could prove to be very effective.
It will be interesting to see if they can beat the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United to his signature now.
There is no doubt that they have the financial resources to pay the reported asking price for the midfielder. A move to the North London club will be an exciting opportunity for the player as well and he would get a test himself at a high level in the Premier League.
The Polish midfielder is still only 24 and he is likely to get better with coaching and experience.
