Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on the Leeds United attacker Wilfried Gnonto.
The 19-year-old has already established himself as a key player for Leeds and it remains to be seen whether the Championship outfit are prepared to sell him.
A report via Calciomercato.It claims that Leeds will demand €30 million for the Italian international and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to invest in him.
The report claims that there is considerable interest from Tottenham and the player is particularly ‘appreciated’ by the club hierarchy.
Tottenham need to add more depth to their attack and the 19-year-old could prove to be a quality acquisition. He is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front three and he will add pace, flair and goals to the side.
The likes of Richarlison have been quite mediocre this season and Tottenham have been overly dependent on Son Heung-min and James Maddison. The 19-year-old Leeds attacker will certainly help share the creative and goal-scoring burden if he joins the club. He has the potential to justify the €30 million investment in the long run as well.
The report further states that Tottenham could look to set up a swap deal involving Joe Rodon. The 26-year-old Welsh international is currently away on loan at Leeds and it remains to be seen whether the Whites are prepared to accept him as a part of the deal.
The Welshman has featured in just two league games for Leeds United during his loan spell this season.
