Tottenham not done yet, two more transfers expected before window closes – report

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham Hotspur have been one of the most active Premier League clubs in this summer’s transfer window, with significant movement both in and out of the squad.

The club kicked off the window by extending Timo Werner’s loan from RB Leipzig and officially announcing the signing of Swedish midfielder Lucas Bergvall.

They went on to add Archie Gray, Min-hyuk Yang, Dominic Solanke, and Wilson Odobert to the squad.

They have also offloaded quite a few players that were not considered part of Ange’s future plans.

Notable departures include sales of Joe Rodon to Leeds, Emerson Royal to AC Milan, and Oliver Skipp to Leicester City.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Bryan Gil have also left the club, initially on loan deals which will be turned into permanent ones eventually.

However, the latest report from The Times claims that Spurs aren’t done as yet.

As per the report, couple of more players are expected to leave before the transfer window shuts, namely, Giovani Lo Celso and Manor Solomon.

Lo Celso has struggled to make an impact at Spurs since joining despite showing glimpses of his quality.

Meanwhile, Solomon’s debut season was marred by injuries, which have likely influenced the club’s willingness to part ways with him.

As the transfer window enters its final days, it remains to be seen whether Spurs can finalise deals for Lo Celso and Solomon.
