Reported Tottenham transfer target Roony Bardghji has already had a trial at the club when he was a kid.
The Copenhagen starlet is linked with a move to Tottenham with recent report claiming that the Danish club are prepared to sell the 18-year-old winger in the January window.
A number of top clubs are interested in securing his services including Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
Another report from a Danish outlet, BT, has reported that Spurs are a ‘big suitor’ of the young attacker whose contract at Copenhagen runs out in December 2025.
The report claims that the club is no longer interested in extending his contract are keen on profiting on the starlet as they dream of a club-record sale.
Amid the strong links with Tottenham, it has now emerged that the club had a chance to sign him when he was 13 years old. The Swedish winger revealed that he gave a trial at Spurs, scoring 3 goals and assisting two during their 6-1 win over Ipswich.
Speaking on the experience during his trial for Spurs, he said (via Pojk Football as relayed by The Spurs Express)
“I am most satisfied with my trial in Tottenham, because I did very well. We played a match against Ipswich and we won 6-1, I scored 3 goals and two assists. ”
“It was a very good experience for me. I got the opportunity to see what level you have to be at to succeed.”

Fans have expressed their surprise over the club’s decision of not signing him despite his impressive performance.

Roony has scored 7 goals in 17 appearances for the club this season and has already made 71 appearances for the first team at the young age of 18.
