Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United.
They are keen on signing the 24-year-old this summer, and journalist Ben Jacobs has now revealed that he is a ‘top priority’ target for the club. Tottenham ‘remain in talks’ with West Ham over a summer move.
They have already had a £50 million offer rejected for the player, and West Ham are demanding £60 million for the key player.
Kudus has a £85 million release clause in his contract, but West Ham are prepared to let him leave for a more reasonable amount of money. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can secure an agreement for him. They will have to return with an improved offer in order to get the deal done.

Expected to take around £60m to strike a deal. West Ham won’t demand the £85m Premier League-specific release clause.

Tottenham could use Mohammed Kudus

They need more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and the Ghana international would be a solid acquisition. He is well settled in English football, and he could make an instant impact at Tottenham.
The 24-year-old will look to make his mark at a big club and fight for trophies. Tottenham could be the ideal move for him. They will be able to offer him Champions League football for the next season.
Meanwhile, Tottenham need more depth in the final third, and a dynamic attacker like Kudus would be the ideal fit. He is capable of operating anywhere across the front three, and he will contribute with goals and creativity.
The player is still relatively young, and he could improve further with coaching and experience. He could develop into a top-class performer for Tottenham.
