Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo.

The 24-year-old has done quite well in the Premier League this season and he could prove to be a quality addition to the London club.

Semenyo is on the radar of Newcastle United as well and a report from Football Insider claims that he will cost around £40-50 million.

Tottenham could use more depth in the attack, but the asking price could be a problem. They will need to strengthen the other areas of their squad as well and spending close to £50 million on Semenyo might not be ideal.

Spurs need a quality central defender and a central midfielder.

Meanwhile, Semenyo will be hoping to join a big club soon. A move to Spurs would be an exciting opportunity for him. He would get to compete at a high level and Spurs might be able to provide him with European football as well.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their interest with an offer to sign the player. Ange Postecoglou is reportedly a fan of the player.

Tottenham need more attacking depth

The North London club will look to push for trophies in the coming seasons and they will need to add more depth and quality to the side. Semenyo will add more cutting-edge and unpredictability to their attack.

Since moving to Tottenham, Richarlison has not lived up to expectations, and the Brazilian has been linked with an exit from the club. Semenyo could be an interesting replacement if the South American is sold in the coming months.

However, the Cherries will have to be more reasonable with their demands in order for the move to go through.

Newcastle are keen on attacking reinforcements as well and they have the resources to pay the asking price. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.
