Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Valentin Atangana from Reims.
According to a report from the Sun, they are keeping tabs on the 19-year-old defensive midfielder, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their interest with an official offer to sign the player.
Aston Villa remain keen on the Cameroon-born as well and the 19-year-old is highly rated across France. He has been likened to the former Chelsea star N’Golo Kante because of his playing style.
Tottenham could certainly use a quality defensive midfielder, and the 19-year-old would be a superb long-term investment for them. He could compete with the likes of Yves Bissouma for a starting spot.
