Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with multiple managers in recent weeks as they look to replace Ange Postecoglou at the end of the season.
It has been a disastrous campaign for Tottenham, and they find themselves 16th in the league table. They were expected to fight for domestic trophies and secure Champions League qualification this season. The Australian manager was backed heavily during the summer window, but he has failed to get the best out of his squad.
He is likely to be shown the door in the summer, and several candidates have been linked with the Tottenham job.

Thomas Frank has been linked with Spurs
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has been linked with a move to the London club, but former club scout Mick Brown has revealed that Tottenham are looking at managers with a higher profile. There is no doubt that Frank is a quality manager, and the 51-year-old has proven himself in the Premier League. However, Nottingham are looking to bring in an elite candidate to replace Postecoglou.
“There’s no doubt Frank has done a fantastic job at Brentford,” he told Football Insider.
“The issue is, Tottenham have had about 15 well-respected managers who have done jobs elsewhere.
“I think they’re looking at higher-profile managers to come in and transform them into a winning outfit.
“I don’t know whether Frank meets that star status they’re looking for.
“He’s a very intelligent and talented manager who has done very well, so I don’t doubt he’ll be under consideration, but I wouldn’t expect him to be a leading candidate.”
It will be interesting to see who they end up with. They have a quality team, and a quality manager could bring out the best in them. A club of their stature should be fighting for trophies and competing in the Champions League regularly. They will need to get their next managerial appointment spot on.
