Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Galatasaray defender Victor Nelsson.
The Denmark central defender joined from Copenhagen for a fee of around €7 million as he has a release clause of €25 million in his contract.
According to a report from Takvim, Tottenham are the club ‘most interested’ in signing the central defender this summer and the Galatasaray director recently travelled to London in order to hold talks with two English clubs regarding Nelsson and Sacha Boey. Arsenal are reportedly keen on Boey.
It is unclear whether the Galatasaray officials have held talks with the Premier League club regarding a potential transfer, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham decide to come forward with a concrete proposal.
The reported €25 million release clause seems quite reasonable for a player of his quality and he could certainly help Tottenham improve defensively.
The North London giants will have to sign a quality defender this summer and they have been linked with players like Max Kilman as well.
