Jack Clarke is attracting the attention of Celtic and the Hoops reportedly want to take him on loan for the whole of next season.
Clarke joined Spurs last summer after a blistering start to his career at Leeds United, Spurs knew he would have limited chances in the Premier League and they loaned him back to the Premier League promotion-chasers.
He struggled to play for Leeds in the first half of the season as their manager prioritised playing more experienced players in his position.
Spurs recalled him from his loan spell at Leeds and sent back out on-loan to QPR in January before the EFL suspended the Championship season.
However, Celtic was among the teams that wanted to sign him on loan in January and Football Insider is claiming that The Hoops intend to return for his signature again when this season ends.
Clarke would still most likely struggle to break into Tottenham’s first team next season and a loan move away seems to be the most sensible option.
The same report claims that Celtic expect him to become available for a season-long loan move again and they have positioned themselves to land him when the time comes.
Clarke is one of several inexperienced players that Spurs have signed in recent seasons and they have high hopes that the 19-year-old will develop into a top star for them.
