Tottenham risk losing transfer target to Premier League rivals if they don’t make a move soon

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham Hotspur have set their sight on the much anticipated January transfer window, with several players on their radar.

One standout name among them is of a talented winger, Samuel Iling-Junior.

Speculation surrounding the 20-year-old’s potential move to North London has been fueled by multiple reports linking him with a move in recent weeks.

He is currently under contract with Italian giants Juventus until the summer of 2025.

But he has found it difficult to get regular  playing time which is why he is keen on a move as well.

Juventus are also reportedly keen on offloading him to secure funds for another midfielder.

The Serie A giants are seeking a transfer fee ranging between €15-20 million, an amount deemed affordable by Tottenham as they look to bolster their squad.

As per the Italian media, Tottenham are the front-runners to sign the young winger.

However, according to TeamTalk, Brighton have emerged as a strong contender and could hijack a move if Spurs don’t move fast.

It also names Aston Villa, Brentford and Fulham as clubs keen on signing the player.

If Spurs do not make a move for him quickly, they could risk losing him to the Seagulls.
