Tottenham rejecting offers for youngster who needs game time

By Bruce Grove -

One player who needs playing time in the current Tottenham set up is Jack Clarke, yet the Lilywhites are reportedly turning down offers for him to leave on loan.

Football London reports that unless there is a last-minute change of mind, he is expected to remain as a part of the Tottenham squad for this season.

The teenage star struggled on loan at Leeds United and QPR last season and those moves may have affected his development.

However, as he continues to train with the Tottenham first team, he has been in impressive form and Mourinho has decided to keep him.

The report claims that the club feels that it is better for him to remain with them and train with their top stars than for him to leave them for a team on loan and not be trusted to play enough games.

In training, Clarke will get to see the genius and dedication of top players like Gareth Bale and Harry Kane and that will serve him better than just training and not playing at a smaller club.

Spurs might have a change of mind in the January transfer window, but he looks set to stay for now.
