Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.
The 26-year-old was on loan at Napoli last term and he is unlikely to be a regular starter under Ange Postecoglou next season.
It would be ideal for the French midfielder to move on in search of regular playing time an Turkish outfit Galatasaray are thought to be keen on signing the player.
According to a report from Ertan Suzgun, the Turkish giants have now made an official bid to sign the player. They have offered €8 million for the midfielder with a four-year payment plan.
Spurs have turned down the offer and it remains to be seen whether Galatasaray come back with an improved offer.
Suzgun adds that Tottenham’s demands for the player and his salary expectations are ‘very high’ and a move ‘seems difficult’.
Fenerbahce are keen on signing the Frenchman as well and it will be interesting to see if they come forward with an offer.
Ndombele was regarded as a world class talent during his time at Lyon, but he has not been able to fulfil the expectations since his move to the Premier League.
Regular football will be the key to his development and a move away from Spurs would be ideal for all parties.
Spurs need to bring in a quality central midfielder this summer, especially if Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg leaves the club. They could use the proceeds from Ndombele’s sale to fund a new signing this summer.
