Tottenham ready to take on a host of Italian sides for talented 20-year-old

By Bruce Grove -

Italian outlet, L’Arena claims that Tottenham is interested in signing 20-year-old, Marash Kumbulla this summer as they continue adding players to their team.

The Lilywhites have had a busy summer transfer window after landing the likes of Matt Doherty and Joe Hart, but they are not done yet.

They want to sign a new striker before this transfer window closes and a defender might also come in after they lost Jan Vertongen, who has joined Benfica on a free transfer.

Kumbulla plays for Hellas Verona and the Albanian national team. At 20, he has been one of the most reliable members of his club’s first team and that has caught the attention of several teams.

He has a lot of interest from Italian outfits, with the likes of Inter Milan, Milan, and Lazio all looking to sign him.

But the report claims that Jose Mourinho also likes the defender, joining Manchester United as the English clubs watching him.

The Lilywhites are the team with the active interest from England as they bolster their team ahead of the new season.

It claims that Verona wants 28 million euros for his signature but that price can be beaten down a little.
