Nuno Espírito Santo and Fabio Paratici are ready to shape Tottenham in their vision. One of the marquee names that the two want to land is Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Houssem Aouar.
According to ESPN, Tottenham is ready to offer Tanguy Ndombele in a swap deal. The report states that the French club is looking for a sum of around €25 million, cutting their asking demand in half.
Tottenham isn’t the only Premier League club hoping to land the France international. Arsenal has long had an interest in the midfielder but needs to offload players before joining the race.
Along with Arsenal, other clubs expressing interest in Aouar as Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, and an unnamed La Liga club, are reportedly in on the 23-year-old.
It will be interesting to see whether Tottenham’s offer of Lyon’s former midfielder is enough to get the deal done or whether they’ll want the transfer sum to find a replacement.
