Tottenham Hotspur need to bring in attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window and they have been presented with the opportunity to sign Serhou Guirassy from VfB Stuttgart.
The 27-year-old striker is looking to move to the Premier League and his representatives are confident of sealing a move in January.
As per 90 Min, his representatives have been in touch with some Premier League clubs through intermediaries to alert them regarding their client’s availability. Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign the striker as well and it remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move for him.
The striker has a £15.2 million release clause in his contract and therefore he could be signed for a reasonable price. Spurs have not replaced Harry Kane yet and the 27-year-old Bundesliga star could prove to be a useful acquisition.
Son Heung-min has had to carry the goalscoring burden all by himself this season and he needs more support in the attack. Guirassy could share the goalscoring burden with him during the second half of the season.
The Guinea international has been in spectacular form this season, scoring 16 goals across all competitions so far. He has the ability to succeed in the Premier League as well and he will add more cutting edge in the final third for Spurs. He could prove to be a bargain at the reported price, and Tottenham must look to do everything in their power to secure his signature.
