Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a bold summer swoop for Noni Madueke, with the club eyeing a reunion with the highly-rated winger who once came through their academy system.
As the transfer window approaches, Spurs are actively exploring ways to bolster their attacking options.
Among the names being discussed, Madueke has emerged as a surprising candidate,
And according to the latest from Football Insider, the North London club are now plotting a move to bring him back this summer.
The 23-year-old currently plies his trade at Chelsea, where he’s had a mixed campaign—registering 8 goals and 4 assists across 30 appearances in all competitions.
Despite his attacking quality, Madueke’s future at Stamford Bridge appears uncertain.
The report claims that Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is said to have reservations about how the winger fits into his tactical plans and could green-light an exit at the end of the season. That uncertainty has opened the door for Tottenham to make a potential move.
From a footballing perspective, Madueke would be a natural fit in Ange Postecoglou’s high-tempo system.
His strength in one-on-one situations aligns well with the kind of attacking football Postecoglou demands.

Madueke’s path to the Premier League spotlight has been far from straightforward. After rising through Tottenham’s youth ranks—captaining the U16s and making his U18 debut at just 15—he departed for PSV Eindhoven.
His breakout 2020–21 season saw him net nine goals and contribute eight assists, which eventually earned him a £28.5 million move to Chelsea in January 2023.
Across his young career, he has racked up an impressive 55 goals and 33 assists in 201 games at all levels.
Although under contract at Chelsea until 2030, with an option to extend, Spurs are keeping a close watch. A deal could cost upwards of €40 million, but given Madueke’s potential and age, it could be a worthwhile gamble.
If Tottenham do bring him back, it would be a statement of intent and a homecoming for a player once tipped to be a star in Lilywhite.
