Tottenham plotting ‘a double offer in January’ for €43 million duo

By Saikat -

Tottenham are looking to improve their attacking options in January and they have identified Juventus players Samuel Iling-Junior and Matias Soule as potential targets.

A report from Fichajes claims that Soule is being ‘closely watched’ by Tottenham and Crystal Palace. The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Frosinone to gain some first-team experience and he has been quite impressive for them. The Argentine winger has six goals and an assist to his name across all competitions.

On the other hand, Iling-Junior has struggled for regular game time at Juventus and he needs to move on in search of regular playing time.

The report claims that Tottenham are planning ‘a double offer in January’ for the two players. Soule is reportedly valued at €25 million and a report from TuttoMercatoWeb revealed earlier that Iling-Junior is valued at €18 million.

Tottenham certainly have the financial means to pay €43 million for two talented young attackers and they could prove to be quality long-term additions.

The likes of Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic are sidelined with injuries and Richarlison has been quite underwhelming this season. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Tottenham decided to invest in two attackers during the January transfer window. They will add goals, creativity and flair to their attack. Both players will be hungry to showcase their abilities at a high level and a move to the Premier League will be an exciting opportunity for them.

If Tottenham can promise them ample game time, they are likely to be attracted to the idea of playing for the north London club. Regular football in the Premier League could accelerate their development and help them fulfil their tremendous potential.

The €43 million investment could look like a major bargain if the two players managed to fulfil their promise.
