Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush.
The 25-year-old Egyptian striker has been in impressive form. This season, scoring 15 goals across all competitions. He has picked up five assists along the way as well.
A report from BILD claims that the striker would cost around €30-40 million at the end of the season and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are prepared to pay up for him.
The German club are unwilling to sell the player for a knockdown price and therefore their demands will have to be met if Tottenham want to sign him.
It is no secret that the north London club need to bring in a quality striker who can lead the line for them. They were overly dependent on Son Heung-min during the first half of the season and Brazilian international Richarlison has picked up some form in recent weeks.
They need another reliable goalscorer at their disposal and the Egyptian would be a quality, long-term acquisition. The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be a tempting proposition for him, and he will look to test himself against the best defenders in the world in English football.
Newcastle United are reportedly keen on the striker as well and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can beat the competition and secure his services.
They are more likely to secure Champions League qualification compared to the Magpies and that could give them a major advantage in the transfer race.
