Tottenham Hotspur signed Alejo Veliz from Rosario Central at the start of the season.
The 20-year-old Argentine striker has struggled for regular game time at the north London club and he is being linked with a loan move away from the club in January.
A report from El Crack Deportivo claims that multiple clubs are keen on signing the Argentine attacker and the player ‘drives everyone crazy’. It is clear that there is genuine interest in the 20-year-old attacker who is highly rated in South America and it remains to be seen whether Spurs are prepared to him out during the second half of the campaign so that he can get ample game time.
He is yet to start a single Premier League game for Tottenham and he has played a total of 17 minutes for them in the league. The player has made six first-team appearances in the Premier League as a substitute and he will want to play more often.
River Plate are keen on securing his services next month and they will face competition from his former club Rosario Central. It will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually.
Veliz wants to be a part of the Tottenham squad in the long-term and he wants to establish himself as a regular starter for the Argentina national team. He does not want to leave them permanently and therefore a loan move would be ideal for all parties right now.
