Chelsea attacker Noni Madueke has been linked for the move away from the club at the end of the season, and Tottenham could be willing to provide him with an exit route.
Aston Villa are keen on signing the 23-year-old attacker as well. He has done quite well this season, with 14 goal contributions in all competitions.
According to Mick Brown on Football Insider, Tottenham are willing to bring their former Academy graduate back to the club, and they are hoping to convince him by promising him regular football. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea are prepared to let the player leave.
Brown said: “Tottenham are one of the teams who have been looking at him, I think Aston Villa have been too.
“From what I hear, Tottenham believe they can tempt him to make that move because they’re prepared to offer him regular playing time.
“He’ll be given the opportunity to make a name for himself and establish himself as a key player.”
He is unlikely to be a cheap acquisition, and Chelsea will look to recoup the money they paid for him. Meanwhile, Aston Villa are hoping to sign the player as well, and the increased competition could result in a bidding war.
Spurs could use Noni Madueke

Spurs could use a dynamic attacker like him, who is capable of operating on either flank, and Madueke could be the ideal acquisition. He is young enough to improve further, and he could establish himself as a key for the North London giants. He could prove to be a major upgrade on Timo Werner.
It will be interesting to see if he’s willing to leave Chelsea in the summer. He has been an important player for Enzo Maresca this season, and Chelsea are currently pushing for Champions League qualification.
If they manage to finish in the top four, Madueke might want to compete in the Champions League with them instead of joining Tottenham, who could easily miss out on European qualification next season.
