Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers.

The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the finest young talents in the Premier League, and he has been outstanding for the West Midlands club. There is no doubt that he would be an exceptional acquisition for Tottenham.

They need more creativity in the final third, and the 22-year-old old capable of operating centrally as well as on the flanks. The opportunity to join a Champions League-level club could be exciting for the player as well.

Morgan Rogers will cost a club record fee

Former scout Bryan Scout has now revealed on Tottenham news that the player could cost around £100 million. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to pay that kind of money.

Rogers is certainly the kind of player who is in the class of Son and Maddison,”King said.

“The only way Villa would even think about getting rid of him is if there was an offer in excess of £100m.

“I think it would take more than £100m, I think Spurs would be up to £110m.

“He’s come on in the last eighteen months, he’s an England international and he’s been central in transforming Villa and getting them into Europe.

“It would certainly take more than £100m to get him out of there.”

Rogers is an elite talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a top-class player with the right guidance. Even if Tottenham need to pay a substantial amount of money for him, he could justify the investment in future.

Also, the player has been linked with other top clubs, and it will be interesting to see if any other shooter is willing to come forward with an acceptable offer. Aston Villa will not want to lose a player of his quality, but the right offer could tempt them.
