Wolves attacker Hwang Hee-chan has been in splendid form this season and his performances have attracted the attention of Tottenham Hotspur.
A report from Football Insider claims that Spurs are monitoring his situation and they could make a move for him in the coming months. A January move is unlikely and therefore Spurs are weighing up a summer transfer.
Liverpool are keeping tabs on the player as well and they want to sign him.
Hee-chan has scored 11 goals in the league this season and he could prove to be a quality addition for Spurs in the final third. He is capable of playing as a centre-forward as well as a wide-forward. His versatility will be a bonus for the North London giants.
He has a contract with Wolves until the summer of 2026 and the West Midlands club could demand a premium for him. It will be interesting to see if Spurs can negotiate a reasonable deal with Wolves.
Meanwhile, Spurs could use an attacker like him in January as well. Son Heing-min will be away with South Korea for the AFC Asian Cup and they will need to replace his goals and creativity. It will be interesting to see if they can bring in a striker this month.
Tottenham will have to improve their squad if they want to secure Champions League qualification. Apart from the attack, they must look to sign a quality central defender as well.
As for Hee-chan, a move to Spurs would be a major step up for him and he is likely to be excited about the idea of playing for Tottenham.
