Tottenham midfielder could leave as soon as next month

By Bruce Grove -

Harry Winks has been painfully sidelined at Tottenham this season as Jose Mourinho works with other midfielders in the Spurs team.

The Englishman was one of the favourites of Mauricio Pochettino and he had also worked his way into becoming one of the fan favourites.

Now he finds himself in a position where he rarely plays and his England position is now at risk.

The midfielder has continued to be called up by England, however, he will struggle to be in the team for the Euros next year if he doesn’t start playing more games for Tottenham.

Mirror Football claims that he has been frustrated by his lack of club action and he is afraid that he will soon no longer be called for England duty unless things change.

The report then says that his current situation will have teams watching to see if he will be leaving Tottenham in the January transfer window.

The Mirror further claims that if things remain the same, it will be a possibility and he won’t lack takers.

Leaving Winks out has been painful to see, but everything seems to be working for Jose Mourinho at the moment, his decisions can hardly be faulted.

Dont like the way José is shaping the squad? Will be back on top later and still in all competitions. idiot. You need a slap. I suppose youd swap José for poch. None of the squad would. “One dimensional requirements and tactics? You know fck all about José or football.

I don’t like the way Jose is shaping our squad. Alli, Winks out while elevating a 31 year old Sissoko and bringing in a bang average player like Doherty.

LoCelso isn’t getting games either, all decent players for me and all the right sort of age. It’s an eye opener as to how one dimensional Jose’s requirements and tactics are…

If Son or Kabe are out for any length of time we are f*cked as nobody else attacks the flipping goal!

Some suggestion that both Origi and Shaquiri are surplus to requirements at Liverpool and could be sold in January. If so no to Origi but I would take a punt on Shaquiri!!

Whats Winks worth, £25m -£30m? and which PL club would be interested in his services Brighton, Fulham, Newcastle, Sheff Utd and Leeds Utd perhaps?
