Tottenham have made contact to sign Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth this summer.
According to Football Insider, they are hoping to sign the 25-year-old Ghanaian International, and they have been told they will have to pay £70 million in order to get the deal done.
The report further claims that Bournemouth have already made contingency plans if Spurs decide to pay up.
Semenyo would be an excellent addition
Semenyo has proven himself in the Premier League over the last 12 months, and he would be an outstanding acquisition for him. He is capable of operating anywhere across the front three, and he will chip in with goals and creativity. The player had 13 goals last season, and he picked up seven assists along the way as well.
His former teammate Dean Huijsen has described him as a player who is “fast, physical, and good with both feet”.
Tottenham certainly need someone with his skill set, and he could transform them in the attack. South Korean international Son Heung-min faces an uncertain future at the club, and the African could be the ideal replacement for the club legend.
Official bid being prepared: Tottenham ready to seal summer move for 23-year-old defender
Can Tottenham afford Antoine Semenyo?

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to break the Bank for him.
The player will be attracted to the idea of joining Tottenham this summer. They have secured Champions League qualification for the next season, and they will be able to provide him with the platform to showcase his qualities at a higher level. They have a talented team, and they have brought in a quality manager like Thomas Frank as well.
It remains to be seen whether Daniel Levy is willing to sanction a big-money move for the player. Tottenham can be quite calculated with their approach in the transfer market, and the asking price is quite steep.
